A sea of mummers, hobby horses, and a pet llama weaved through Bowring Park for the 17th annual St. John’s Mummers Parade on Saturday. Newcomers shared their appreciation for the centuries-old Newfoundland tradition and were reminded of similar dress-up traditions of back home.
